摘要：
The total synthesis of (13Z)-spata-13(15),17-diene was achieved starting from 3-methyl-2-cyclopentenone (6) in 11 steps. The nucleus was constructed in novel fashion using a Pauson-Khand reaction of cyclobutene 9 with trimethylsilylncctylene. The appropriate sidechains were attached in a stereospecific manner taking advantage of the shape of the nucleus. © 1990.
