NA-22(HE-3,D)MG-23 REACTION STUDIES OF STATES NEAR THE PROTON THRESHOLD AND HYDROGEN BURNING OF NA-22

摘要
The Na-22(He-3,d)Mg-23 reaction has been investigated at E(tau)= 30 MeV using a Na-22 implanted foil target and a Q3D spectrograph of high energy resolution. The angular distributions of deuteron groups corresponding to nineteen Mg-23 levels between E(x) = 6236 and 8076 keV have been measured at angles theta(lab) = 7.5 degrees to 31 degrees and lead to their proton spectroscopic factors using DWBA analysis. The Na-22(p,gamma)Mg-23 resonance strengths for unbound states near the proton threshold have been deduced. The resulting reaction rates significantly reduce previous uncertainties.
