A 1.5-MU-M ABSOLUTELY STABILIZED EXTENDED-CAVITY SEMICONDUCTOR-LASER

摘要
In this paper, we present a complete study of a packaged long-term stabilized 1.5-mu-m extended-cavity semiconductor laser, on a NH3 absorption line. The available lines have been extensively studied and calibrated between 1.49 and 1.52-mu-m. The laser is simultaneously highly coherent (60-kHz linewidth) and long-term stabilized with a 10(-10) long-term stability. This device could be useful for coherent optical communications.
