RAMAN-SCATTERING FROM GRAPHITE SURFACE IRRADIATED BY DEUTERIUM IONS

摘要
We report real-time Raman measurements of a graphite surface under low energy deuterium ion irradiation and surface enhanced Raman scattering from ion irradiated graphite surface. The relative intensity ratio of a disorder induced peak with respect to the E2g mode peak has been observed to be proportional to the square root of the irradiation time. The surface enhanced Raman scattering shows that the disorder of the outermost surface is larger than that estimated by the usual Raman spectrum.
