摘要
It was found that hydrophobic Ni/poly(tetrafluoroethylene) (PTFE) composite-plated electrodes give high current efficiencies for electrolytic reactions of various organic compounds in aqueous solution. This fact suggests that these hydrophobic electrodes promote the reactions themselves and/or inhibit reduction/oxidation of water (hydrogen/oxygen evolution).
