ANGULAR-DISTRIBUTIONS OF N+ FROM N-2(2+) PRODUCED BY ELECTRON-IMPACT ON N-2

摘要
Coincidence measurements of the angular distributions of N+ dissociated from N22+ produced by electron impact on N2 have been made. With an incident electron energy of 60 eV, 3.9-, 5.0-, and 7.2-eV N+ ions were detected separately using the time-of-flight and coincidence method at selected angles between 40°and 140°. The results show flat angular distributions and the flatness for each case could be ascribed to different origins. © 1995 The American Physical Society.
