摘要
A study was undertaken to determine the relationship between the German and Dutch draft procedures based on potassium iodide (KI) and the candidate reference methods ultraviolet absorption photometry (UV) and gas-phase titration (GPT). Results show a very good agreement between UV and GPT and an acceptable agreement between these methods and the German KI method (KIBR), independent of relative humidity (RH). The Dutch KI results were up to 25% too high depending on the RH of the test atmosphere. The absence of KIBR moisture interference is tentatively attributed to addition of potassium bromide to the KI absorption solution. © 1979.
