An Anton-Paar vibrating-tube densitometer has been attached to the exit line of our high-temperature high-pressure isothermal flow calorimeter and used to measure the excess volume for (ethanol + water). Results are reported over the entire mole-fraction range at the temperatures (298.15 and 348.15) K and pressures (0.4, 5, and 15) MPa and at the temperature 323.15 K and pressures (5 and 15) MPa. The results at T = 198.15 K and p = 0.4 MPa are in good agreement with results reported in the literature for this mixture under ambient conditions. © 1993 Academic Press Ltd.
