摘要
The decays of 182Ta (115 d), 182Re (64 h) and 182Re (13 h) to 182W have been studied. Ge(Li) detectors were used to obtain γ-ray singles spectra in the decay of these activities and to perform γ-γ coincidence measurements on the 182Ta decay. All of the transitions above 70 keV reported in the conversion-electron study of Harmatz et al. of 182Re were observed within the limits of the resolution of our detector with the exception of the 2023.5 keV transition. Improved values of energies for the more energetic γ-rays were obtained and a number of additional γ-ray transitions have been assigned to the 182Re (13 h) activity. A number of previously unreported transitions also have been assigned to the 182Re (64 h) activity. Previously unreported transitions of 110.4, 1157.7 (composite), 1181, and 1223.2 keV have been assigned to the 182Ta activity. Internal conversion coefficients are calculated using previously reported conversion electron intensities and the γ-ray intensities obtained in this investigation. Revised decay schemes are proposed. Branching ratios for transitions de-exciting the positive-parity states and some of the negative-parity states were calculated and comparisons made with theoretical estimates. The level structure of 182W is discussed in terms of the collective model and the quasiparticle model. © 1969.
