摘要：

An automated coulometric titrator and its successful application to the determination of water via a Karl Fischer-type reaction is described. Coulometric in situ generation of the highly moisture-sensitive Karl Fischer reagent is used to determine accurately the water content of a variety of compounds. The titrator is applicable to all levels of water, from hydrocarbons containing a few parts-per-million water to samples consisting of pure water. © 1969.
