摘要：

1. 1. Using polyacrylamide disc gel electrophoresis, non-genetic variation in isoenzymes of lactate dehydrogenase in the snail Cepaea nemoralis has been investigated. 2. 2. It is found that different isoenzyme patterns are obtained at different times of the year, and also according to whether snails are aestivating or feeding. 3. 3. The biochemical properties of the lactate dehydrogenase isoenzymes in this species have been examined in an attempt to explain the observed phenomena. © 1978.
