摘要
The effect of a post-growth heat treatment procedure on Bi2Sr2CaCu2Ox fibers produced at different growth rates by the laser-heated pedestal growth method has been investigated. Microstructural studies reveal that the non-superconducting metastable phases formed at high growth rates are converted via a solid state reaction into the superconducting phase. Magnetometer and transport studies show superconducting transitions in fast-grown, heat-treated fibers which originally were non-superconducting in their as-grown condition. Some enhancement in properties is also seen in slower-grown fibers compared to their as-grown condition. © 1990.
