摘要
We have investigated the surface and magnetic properties of FeTi and their variation upon heat treatment and hydrogénation by means of XPS, AES, photoelectron spinpolarization-and magnetic susceptibility measurements. The structure of FeTiDx (0≦x ≦1.9) was investigated by means of the neutron diffraction technique.We explain the activation process, poisoning with oxygen and reactivation, the “oxygen sealing” of the hydrided FeTi and the irreversible change of the magnetic properties upon hydrogénation, by surface segregation and decomposition of the original surface. © 1979, Akademische Verlagsgesellschaft.
