摘要
A mathematical formalism is developed to describe the peak shape for collisionally activated dissociation. From this description, an algorithm is devised for peak shape analysis. The method is applied to the collisionally activated dissociation of benzophenone molecular ions. The elastic and inelastic energy transfer in the collision are obtained through the analysis. The kinetic energy release distribution in the subsequent dissociation is estimated. © 1990.
