摘要
Optical and electrical properties of superthin (1.5-27 angstrom) niobium films deposited on alpha-quartz using radio-frequency sputtering have been studied. For the first time a periodical thickness dependence in optical and dc conductivity for metallic films was found. The period of such oscillations for Nb films is 6 angstrom.
