摘要
How does the public's assessment of the quality of specific public services compare with its evaluation of private sector services? Using the results of a 1992 survey conducted in Georgia, Theodore H. Poister and Gary T. Henry found no systematic difference in attitudes toward public and private services among respondents. The conventional wisdom that public services are inherently inferior to those offered by the private sector does not necessarily pervade attitudes toward government.
