摘要
The effect of repeated teeth amputations on the secretory responses and the activities of succinic dehydrogenase, cytochrome oxidase and fumarse was studied in the rat's submaxillary gland.Repeated teeth amputations cause and enlargement of the gland.The secretory responses to adrenaline were found to be increased while those to acetylcholine, methacholine or stimulation of the parasympathetic secretory nerve were unchanged.The total activities of succinic dehydrogenase and fumarase were increased while that of cytochrome oxidase was unchanged. © 1968 Scandinavian Physiological Society
