摘要
A thermodynamic model of ion-polar molecule collisions is presented. The Helmholtz free energy is used to find the interaction potential. This leads to microscopic rate constants for ion-molecule collisions which are consistent with available experimental data for ion-molecule reactions. © 1979 American Chemical Society.
