摘要
A distorted cube or two four‐membered rings linked through two bonds are alternative descriptive of the tellurium polycation Te 84+ (shown on the right) in Te8(VOCl4)2 1. The Te 84+ and VOCl 42− ions in 1 both form one‐dimensional chains. The Te8 cube can be derived from the α‐Po structure or from paired Te 42+ ions. (Figure Presented.)
