ENANTIO-DIFFERENTIATING HYDROGENATION OF 2-ALKANONES OVER ASYMMETRICALLY MODIFIED NICKEL-CATALYST AND ITS APPLICATION TO THE PREPARATION OF OPTICALLY PURE 2-ALKANOLS

摘要
Enantio-differentiating hydrogenation of 2-alkanones over asymmetrically modified nickel catalyst was carried out with an average optical yield of about 80%. The factors affecting the optical yield of the reaction and their functions are discussed. A practical method for the optical enrichment of products of hydrogenation to optically pure 2-alkanols is also presented. © 1990.
