PREPARATION OF ZNS-AG,CL THIN-FILMS EMITTING BLUE LUMINESCENCE

摘要
ZnS films evaporated simultaneously with silver onto quartz glass were embedded in a ZnS powder bath containing chlorine and heat treated at 600-700 °C. These films exhibited a blue luminescence with a peak at about 450 nm under 330 nm excitation. The luminescence intensity increased by about 2 or 3 orders of magnitude with increasing temperature of the heat treatment. Little deterioration of the surface texture of the films was observed on heat treatment up to 700 °C. © 1990.
