HIGH-RESOLUTION UV LASER SPECTROSCOPY OF CAF - ROTATIONAL ANALYSIS OF THE C2-PI-X2-SIGMA+(0,0) SYSTEM

摘要
The CaF C2Π-X2Σ+ (0, 0) system has been investigated by molecular beam spectroscopy with a frequency-doubled dye ring laser. The λ-doubling components in the C2Π state were assigned by Stark-effect labeling. Spectroscopic constants of the C state were determined from a least-squares fit. The main parameters are T00 = 30215.956(16) cm-1, A0 = 29.243(30) cm-1, B0 = 0.32342(7) cm-1, p = -4.89(27) × 10-3 cm-1, and q = 1.05(2) × 10-4 cm-1. Local perturbations were observed in both spin-orbit components of C2Π and attributed to an interaction with a 2Σ+ state approximately 50 cm-1 below the C state. This state could be the lowest vibrational state of D2Σ+, previously placed 600 cm-1 above C2Π, v′ = 0. © 1992.
