摘要
We used the combined sinusoidal and short-lived weak-pulsed loss modulation techniques to investigate nonlinear dynamics in a cw CO2 laser. The effects of discrete phase and amplitude optical switchings and noncritical slowing down have been demonstrated experimentally. Possible applications of these effects for controlling of temporal and transverse structure of laser intensity are discussed.
