TRIVALENT CATION DOPANTS IN KTP - THE CASE OF CR3+

摘要
Crystals of KTiOPO4 (KTP) were grown, containing different concentrations Cr3+. The results were studied with optical microscopy, instrumental neutron activation analysis (INAA) and X-ray microprobe analysis. Chromium builds in preferentially in certain growth sectors of KTP like {100} and to an even stronger extent in {101}. The bulk distribution coefficient of Cr3+ in KTP is 0.71.
