摘要
The effect of CO2 on the reduction of oxygen on gold in a molten Li + Na carbonate eutectic was examined by linear scan voltammetry. The data obtained were interpreted under the assumption that two independent electrode processes occur at similar potentials. These processes were postulated to be the reduction of peroxide to oxide ions (this reaction was investigated in detail in Parts 1-4) and a second-order reaction involving physically dissolved carbon dioxide and presumably percarbonate ions.
