摘要
For a simplified model of electron phonon interaction, the temporal evolution of the distribution function is calculated exactly and compared with common approximations. The second Born approximation with memory is found to give sometimes unphysical results. Within density matrix theory, a quasiparticle scheme is developed which compares favorably with the exact solution.
