ENHANCEMENT BY ACIDIC PHOSPHOLIPIDS OF THE RATE OF SYNTHESIS OF N-ACETYLGLUCOSAMINYLPYROPHOSPHORYLDOLICHOL FROM DOLICHOL PHOSPHATE IN RAT LUNG MEMBRANES

摘要
The rate of synthesis of N-acetylglucosaminylpyrophosphoryldolichol in dense membrane fractions of rat lung microsomes supplemented with dolichol phosphate was enhanced by the addition of phospholipids. Phosphatidylglycerol alone was more effective than a phospholipid mixture. Only phosphatidylinositol of other phospholipids tested significantly enhanced the reaction rate. The effect was more apparent in dense membrane fractions (rough endoplasmic reticulum) which have a low total phospholipid and phosphatidylglycerol content. © 1979.
