FLOW-THROUGH AMPEROMETRIC SENSOR FOR HYDROGEN-PEROXIDE MONITORING IN GASEOUS MEDIA

An amperometric flow-through sensor for the determination of hydrogen peroxide in gaseous media over the range 0.05-1.0 mg/m3 (0.03-0.66 ppmv) is described. The standard error of hydrogen peroxide determination is 3.5-5.8% at concentrations of 0.05-0.2 mg/m3 and 0.6-1.8% at higher hydrogen peroxide concentrations. The limit of hydrogen peroxide detection is 0.01 ppmv. The response time of the sensor at high concentrations of hydrogen peroxide is less than 1 min: the volume of gaseous media under investigation is 1-1.51.
