摘要
The effect of mass transfer limitations on product selectivity in the liquid phase chlorination of n-dodecane is presented. Surface renewal theory is used to show that selectivity is determined by the values of two dimensionless parameters which represent the interaction between mass transfer and kinetics in the reaction system. Experimental data show that the yield ratio of nl sec-monochlorides is increased 70% as mass transfer limitations increase. © 1979, American Chemical Society. All rights reserved.
