摘要
Two spectrally different types of B800-850 complex have been isolated from high- and low-light-grown cells of Rps. palustris. These complexes have distinct pigment and polypeptide composition. The high-light complex has a bacteriochlorophyll: carotenoid ratio of 2:1, while the low-light complex has a bacteriochlorophyll: carotenoid ratio of 3:1. The efficiency of carotenoid to bacteriochlorophyll singlet-singlet energy transfer in both types of complex is similar. © 1990.
