摘要
A computer program is described for the optimization of reversed-phase multisolvent separations. After four initial gradient runs are carried out, calculation will locate a possible optimum with binary systems or select two binary mixtures with respect to both the analysis time and the selectivity. In this latter case, two additional experiments will locate the true optimum on a straight line joining these two binary compositions on the solvent triangle (ternary system). The efficiency of this procedure is demonstrated with an illustrative example.
