摘要：

Some possibilities of matrix assisted laser desorption ionization mass spectrometry (MALDI-MS) are discussed with emphasis on the analysis of very small sample volumes. Preliminary results on the analysis of peptides in single neurons are presented as well as the combination of capillary electrophoresis MALDI-MS.
