摘要：

We start with a succinct presentation of the nonhomogeneous nondispersive waves and different covariant formalisms of electromagnetism. Then, using traceless second-rank spinors, we show that it is easy to infer the nonhomogeneous nondispersive electromagnetic waves from the scalar ones. Finally, we discuss the global and local behavior of these waves and their physical properties.
