SOUND-VELOCITY OF SUPERCOOLED WATER DOWN TO -33-DEGREES-C USING ACOUSTIC LEVITATION

摘要
The sound velocity in supercooled water has been measured at 54 kHz down to -33°C by means of an acoustic levitation method. The accuracy of the results is estimated to be within ±1.3%. Comparison with published data obtained at 5 GHz and 925 MHz indicates an anomalous sound velocity dispersion. © 1980 American Institute of Physics.
