摘要
Grignard compounds and amines were converted into “dimagnesylamines” RN‐(MgX)2 as long ago as 1903. Now for the first time a crystalline compound has been obtained from a PhN(MgBr)2 solution in ether and characterized by X‐ray structure analysis. The title compound has a Mg6N4 adamantanyl framework; each Mg2+ ion is solvated by an ether molecule, and the four Br− ions are located above the four hexagonal faces of the Mg6N4 cage.
