摘要
β-Neohesperidose hepta-acetate has been synthesized directly from 1,3,4,6-tetra-O-acetyl-β-D-glucopyranose and an improved method of preparation from the anomeric 1,3,4,6-tetra-O-acetyl-α-D-glucopyranose is described. The free sugar was obtained by deacetylation of the hepta-acetate and crystallized in 67·1% yield as the β-monohydrate. © 1968.
