摘要
When using graphite furnace sampling in atomic spectrometry, it is advantageous to introduce the sample into a hot environment that is at thermal equilibrium (constant temperature). One means of doing this is to dry an aliquot of the sample on a wire made of a high melting point material, then to place the wire and dried sample into the hot furnace. Using this procedure, matrix interferences are eliminated or greatly reduced compared to the conventional procedure of introducing the sample onto the cold wall of the furnace for the determination of Pb and TI. High concentrations of chloride matrix provide a vapor phase interference. © 1979, American Chemical Society. All rights reserved.
