摘要
Mathematical expressions have been derived to describe the rates of release of drugs forming a reservoiz in the stratum corneum. The different physicochemical constants incorporated into the expressions and their significance in the formation of a reservoir are discussed. Theoretical release curves are given which show how the oil/water partition coefficient of the drug affects the storage capacity of the stratum comeum. © 1979.
