摘要
A new procedure to quantify the catalytic active sites (CAS) in calcium-catalyzed carbon gasification is presented. The method is based on TPD analysis after CO2 chemisorption. The second CO2 composite peak is related to the calcium-carbon contact and the quantification of this peak provides a measure of the CAS. Turnover frequencies based on this CAS for CO2 and steam gasification are found constant for different calcium loading and for samples with different sintering degrees.
