摘要
:
1. 1. Vascular smooth muscle of Eptatretus stoutii was extremely sensitive to the vasoconstrictor action of vasotocin (<10-10 M). 2. 2. The vasoconstrictor effect of neurohypophysial peptides was potentiated by Mg or Mn, in the manner seen in birds and mammals. 3. 3. These findings suggest that vascular activity of porterior pituitary hormones, and their interaction with Mg, appeared during the earliest stage of vertebrate phylogenesis. © 1968.
