摘要
Cholesterol-4-14C-25-3H was converted by Dioscorea floribunda plants to diosgenin, which had the same 3H/14C ratio as the administered cholesterol. The results indicate that cholesterol is not dehydrogenated at C-24 prior to forming diosgenin. © 1970.
