摘要
A new substructure modal synthesis method is introduced. This method uses a set of trial frequencies and Gaussian elimination to find the expansion base vectors without solving the eigenvalue problem of each substructure. Two examples are given to compare the required computational times among two famous existing methods and this new method. The results show that to obtain the same accurate results the new methods requires far less computational time than two famous existing methods. © 1990.
