摘要
黏土矿物组成、含量以及结晶参数的变化与古环境(气候与沉积环境)变化密切相关,可以反映气候冷、暖周期性变化和沉积环境特征。近些年来,黏土矿物分析成为重建古环境的有效手段之一。在阐述黏土矿物的研究方法和古环境意义的基础上,对近20年来黏土矿物在海洋、黄土、湖泊古环境恢复当中的应用进行了回顾和评述。指出随着新的研究方法的不断引入与创新,黏土矿物分析已从定性研究转向半定量、定量研究;黏土矿物记录与孢粉、硅藻、粒度和氧同位素反映的古气候基本吻合,说明黏土矿物是古气候研究的有效方法。但气候以外的其他因素也能引起黏土矿物含量和组合的变化,因此,在进行古气候重建时必须考虑物质来源、水动力条件、地质地貌特征和地球化学环境以及构造运动等因素的可能影响。结合其他多种古环境代用指标的联合运用,黏土矿物研究将在古环境重建中发挥越来越重要的作用,具有广阔的应用前景。
