特种木本油料作物星油藤原产于南美洲,其种子已被当地人食用了3 000多年,可作为一种营养价值很高的健康食用油。在对星油藤的种质资源和影响栽培的环境因子进行阐述的基础上,重点概述了其种子中两种主要化学成分油脂和蛋白质,具体包括油脂含量和脂肪酸组成、脂质活性成分及降血脂作用,种子蛋白质含量和氨基酸组成等方面的研究现状,并对星油藤的研究和开发利用提出了相应的建议。
