社会学方法二十年:应用与研究

In this paper, the author divided the development of the Chinese sociology in the area of research methods during the twenty years since its recover into three stages, and summarize the characteristics of these stages with the words learning practice improvement. On this bases, the author reviewed this develop course from two aspects, one is the use of methods, the other is the study of methods. The paper says that we have experienced a promoting course in the use of methods from qualitative to quantitative, and then from quantitative to pay attention to qualitative methods again on a new level. On the study of methods, Chinese sociologists have been paying more attention to following topics, such as methodology, system of research methods, concept of survey research, Mao Zedongs survey methods, questionnaire method, sample methods, qualitative and quantitative methods and so on. At the end of the paper, the author made a further discussion about problems related with the advance of research methods.
