中国栽培马铃薯最早引种时间之辨析

The paper has made textual research of the writing time and the property of Miscellanies on Changan《长安客话》 and testified that“ tu dou”(土豆) was not potato in Ming dynasty. The author described the characteristics and the source of potato of Europe and of China and showed the time when they began to cultivated in China. The paper analysed the related records of the chinese ancient agricultural books and refuted the opinion that potato started to beplant in Ming dynasty, which was frequently writen in the contemporary potato monographs, the agricultural encyclopaedia and the agricultural university textbook. The author put forward that potato began to beplanted in China in 18th century and recounted its reasons.
