人口年龄结构是否通过人力资本影响经济增长——基于中介效应的检验

基于1998-2015年我国31个省(自治区、直辖市)的面板数据,实证分析健康人力资本和教育人力资本在人口年龄结构影响经济增长过程中的中介效应。结果表明,全面二孩政策和老龄化将使需要抚养的人口增多,劳动人口比例下降,储蓄和投资减少,直接导致经济增长放缓。而二孩政策将占用健康支出,老龄化将占用教育支出,导致人均健康支出和教育支出下降,通过人力资本的中介效应使经济增长放缓。同时,老龄化导致健康支出增加,将会部分减缓经济增长的下降。最后,根据研究得出的结论,提出全面二孩政策和老龄化背景下提高人力资本积累,促进经济增长的对策建议。
