摘要：

动脉粥样硬化是缺血性卒中的病理学基础, 外周血白细胞参与动脉粥样硬化的发生和进展过程, 并造成血管内皮损伤。急性缺血性卒中后外周免疫细胞发生一系列变化, 引起炎性细胞向脑组织浸润。白细胞计数增高与冠状动脉粥样硬化性心脏病的发生和预后密切相关。也有研究显示, 外周血白细胞计数增高可能会影响缺血性卒中的发生、神经功能缺损、复发和死亡。文章对外周血白细胞与缺血性卒中的关系进行了综述。
