数字媒体与情感极化:表征、成因与对策

数字技术的迅猛发展给人们的信息接触和交流沟通带来了前所未有的变化。在数字平台上,社会群体较之传统时代更易于形成极化现象,情感极化已成为当下一种突出的社会现象,与党派极化、群体极化、公众舆论之间存在着相互交织的关系。本文从政治极化溯源,探索情感极化在政治领域以及非政治领域蔓延扩散的表现、原因和后果。个人迫切希望获得群体认同的心理在数字平台上得到了极大发扬,社交媒体平台被动迎合个人形象积极策展的需求,社交媒体主动的界面功能改版激发更多蕴含愤怒情绪的内容传播,因此,基于身份动机的帖子往往会在在线社交网络中获得更高参与度,对内群体的喜爱言论以及对外群体的对立言论在网络中层出不穷,同时后者数量远超于前者数量,导致情感极化愈演愈烈。本文也从群际交流互动视角探索了缓解情感极化的有效方案。
