摘要：

肺炎链球菌是儿童呼吸道感染中最常见的病原之一,也是导致儿童重症肺炎、肺炎并发症和死亡的主要致病菌。近年来,由于世界各地肺炎链球菌对抗生素的耐药不断增加和广泛传播,造成疾病的负担日益增加,也使临床诊治面临严峻挑战。疫苗的出现和推广在肺炎链球菌病的防治方面有着光明的前景。
